Davidson will also serve on the MAAC SAAC Executive Board.

Luke Davidson ’26—a rising senior captain on Fairfield Men's Basketball—has been selected as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) representative on the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Davidson will also serve as the secretary of the MAAC SAAC for the 2025-26 academic year.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is a vehicle for student-athletes to provide input on pertinent issues. At Fairfield, each varsity team is represented by at least one student-athlete on SAAC, while MAAC SAAC includes two student-athletes from every member institution.

As a member of the NCAA Division I SAAC, Davidson will confer with peers throughout the nation to make recommendations and provide feedback to leaders and decision-makers at the national level.

Earlier this summer, Davidson was selected to participate in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis.

A co-captain of Fairfield Men’s Basketball in the 2024-25 season, Davidson is a Dean's List student pursuing a double major in sports business and psychology.
