What is a Golden Stag?

Once graduates of Fairfield University celebrate their milestone 50th Reunion, they become members of the prestigious group known as Golden Stags. This group is the cornerstone of our alumni family and we are proud to recognize and celebrate their importance to the Fairfield community. Currently, the Golden Stags are made up of alumni from the classes of 1951 through 1976.

Upcoming Events

On Sunday, September 27, the Classes of 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, and 1971 will be recognized at the 2026 Golden Stags Reunion. This will mark our first-ever 75th Reunion milestone!

The day will feature Mass, a luncheon, and a special seminar curated just for the occasion. All Golden Stags are invited to this annual celebration and registration will open later this summer. Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

In addition to Golden Stag-specific events and offers throughout the year, Golden Stags are invited to attend all alumni events, both in-person and virtual. Check below for a link to the full listing of upcoming events, as well as links to the Quick Center for the Arts and the Fairfield University Art Museum.
