The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is excited to welcome FLIP Fabrique for two special 7 p.m. performances of Blizzard on Sunday, April 14 and Monday, April 15.

FLIP Fabrique is an internationally renowned Quebec-based performance group known for pushing the limits of circus arts. Their shows feature a unique blend of awe-inspiring acrobatics, breathtaking visual poetry, and original music performed live.

Blizzard explores the emotions experienced when shaking a snow globe and witnessing chaos transform into harmony, asking the audience to contemplate whether being engulfed in a white-out is a catastrophe or an opportunity to reset and correct our missteps. It is the story of a group of friends, each one different from the other, like snowflakes, exploring the awe and wonder of a winter storm.

“The Quick has a long history of presenting the most unconventional, cutting-edge circus performers from around the world, including Agathe et Adrien, Gravity & Other Myths, Cirque Alfonse, and more,” said Lori N. Jones, the Quick Center’s Director of Programming and Operations. “We can’t wait to share this exhilarating and fun experience with fans of our previous circus performances as well as families new to the Quick.”

Hailing from Quebec City, FLIP Fabrique is an established troupe originally founded by a group of friends. Their shared dream of creating shows that are inspired by artistry, imagery, personality, and the human experience has been realized in international performances shared with more than a million spectators worldwide.

The Quick Center thanks the government of Quebec, Sturges Ridge of Fairfield, WSHU Public Radio, Cindy Raney & Team, and Wealthspire Advisors for sponsoring this performance. Tickets are priced to be accessible and are now on sale on quickcenter.com for $35, $25 for Quick Members, and $5 for Fairfield University students. For more information, contact the Quick Center Box Office at 203-254-4010, Monday through Friday, from 12 to 5 p.m.
