"Alice in Wonderland" takes center stage at Quick Center for the Arts

Image: Alice Step through the looking glass into a world of excitement and enchantment with an adaptation of Lewis Carroll's great classic, "Alice in Wonderland," on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 1 and 3 p.m., in Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. The program will be repeated on Monday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. as part of the Quick Center's Outreach Program.

Produced by American Family Theatre's Broadway for Kids, this rollicking musical is filled with terrific sets, special effects and guaranteed fun. Curious adventures are in store for Alice as she follows the White Rabbit into Wonderland where she meets up with Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Knave and Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter and all of the engaging characters from Carroll's famous tale.

Through the magic of live theater, the show bursts with energy, spectacle and song and has thrilled nationwide audiences of all ages. All are invited to come and join the merriment.

Tickets for the Sunday production of "Alice..." are $10 adults, $8 for children, with discounts for groups of 20 or more. There are no birthday parties available for this production. Tickets for Monday's Outreach program are $5; study guides are available for teachers.
