Mary Donahue, the daughter of the late Fairfield First Selectman John J. Sullivan, meets with this year's recipient of the scholarship at Fairfield University named in her father's honor. Nicholas Tuffarelli is a political science major from the Bronx, N.Y., who plans to study law after he graduates next year. At Fairfield he has been a dean's list scholar; a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a national politics honor society; and organizer and mediator of the club hockey team. The scholarship was created by friends of Mr. Sullivan to mark his 24 years in service to the town as First Selectman.
