Fairfield University School of Business to offer MBA courses in Greenwich

Fairfield University's School of Business will begin offering graduate courses for its MBA and MS in Financial Management in Greenwich this fall. The courses will be offered at 25 Valley Road, just off the Post Road in Greenwich, in a classroom facility of Greenwich Hospital.

Dr. Walter Ryba, dean of Fairfield's School of Business, said the cooperative venture with Greenwich Hospital is a welcome opportunity for Fairfield to make Fairfield's AACSB-accredited MBA program available to people in Stamford, Greenwich and Westchester County. "We have a number of people in lower Fairfield County and Westchester County interested in studying in our program and this will make it much more convenient for them," he said.

Moreen Donahue, R.N., M.S., CHCE, director of Home Care for Greenwich Hospital, was instrumental in bringing Fairfield University's business programs to Greenwich. Noting that the hospital has had a long and rewarding relationship with Fairfield's School of Nursing, she said, "Our experience has been that whatever Fairfield offers is of the highest calibre and done with great integrity. I look forward to local residents and even some members of the hospital staff having access to this quality program."

Fairfield currently offers concentrations for the MBA in accounting, finance, human resource management, information technology, international business, marketing and taxation.
