The School of Continuing Education at Fairfield University is offering a ten-week course to help human resource professionals prepare for the certification exam leading to the designation of Professional in Human Resource or Senior Professional in Human Resource.

The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Certification Institute, the credential issuing body founded by SHRM, annually offer a certification process to designate Human Resource professionals.

Taught by certified HR professionals, the interactive course meets Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m., beginning Sept. 30. The cost is $850.
