The Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association is once again joining with Fairfield University's School of Continuing Education to provide the public with some practical understanding of the law. Together they are co-sponsoring an eight-week series of public education courses which present, in laymen's terms, information about the court system, criminal law, personal injury law, real estate, landlord and tenant law, family law, wills, estates and probate proceedings, business and contract law, and worker's compensation. The eight two-hour sessions will be taught by local attorneys and judges on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m., beginning Sept. 23. The cost of the program is $35.
