The rambunctious rabbit, Peter, gets more than he bargained for when he sneaks into Farmer MacGregor's garden in this updated version of the childhood classic. This time around Mama Rabbit is a single parent trying her best to provide for her children Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter. But Peter's "Bun from the Hood" lifestyle is too much for Mama to handle and no matter how hard she tries, he continues to follow in the felonious footsteps of his late father.

Based in New York City, Theatreworks/USA has been entertaining audiences since 1961. The troupe is the recipient of numerous awards, and has helped launch the careers of such noted actors as Henry Winkler, Danny Glover, and Susan Egan of Broadway's "Beauty and the Beast."
