Based on Johann David Wyss's family classic, "Swiss Family Robinson" follows the adventures of a Elizabeth and Ernst Robinson and their three sons - Fritz, Karl, and Jan - as they struggle to survive on a deserted island in 1773 after their ship is sunk en route to the colony of New Bern.

"'Swiss Family Robinson' is a suspenseful tale of a family's courage, love and determination," said Patricia Hemenway Cook, events manager at the Quick Center. "Children will be on the edge of their seats as the Robinson clan confront menacing wild animals. They will also learn how to live respectfully and in harmony with nature."
