Embracing diversity has always been a distinguishing hallmark of Jesuit education. The tradition continues in Fairfield’s commitment to build a community of learners from a diversity of social, economic, racial, cultural, national, and religious backgrounds. As a potential Fairfield student, we not only encourage you to embrace your uniqueness but to also learn about the many ways in which Fairfield celebrates the inclusive excellence of its community.
The Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) provides experiences that allow you to meet, learn, and engage with the many forms of diversity at Fairfield. We invite you to attend one of our three MVP Experiences to learn more about becoming a part of the rich, diverse culture at Fairfield.
The Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) Shadow Day is designed to give prospective students an opportunity to see and experience the celebration and importance of culture and diversity at Fairfield University. Students will have the opportunity to attend university and student-sponsored events highlighting the unique diversity of our student body. This program also allows students to learn about academic and social life first-hand at Fairfield University.
The Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) Fall Overnight will provide high school seniors with an opportunity to spend an evening on our campus with a member of our Diversity Recruitment Team, experiencing life as a Stag and attending diversity-related events on campus.
The Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) Admitted Student Overnight welcomes students from traditionally underrepresented populations and those with a strong interest in diversity to spend a day and evening on campus meeting with Fairfield students, staff, and faculty learning about the resources available to you as a future Stag! Invitations for this program will be sent during the spring semester.
One of the many goals of our Multi-Cultural Visit Program is to make it easy for prospective students to connect with the diverse voices and experiences at Fairfield. If you have important questions or want to learn more about our campus culture, we encourage you to reach out to one of the student members of our Diversity Recruitment Team.
