Dining Options

The Daniel & Grace Tully Dining Commons

Elevating your dining experience with the new new modern The Tully Dining Commons. The Tully features a significantly expanded dining area for students on the top floors, as well as a faculty dining room. Delivering the freshest dining experience, students are to engage more than ever by being able to watch chefs prepare fresh, farm-to-table meals. The new dining room also features a number of dining and seating options including booths and community tables.

Located on the top floor of the Barone Campus Center, The Tully Dining Commons is FairfieldUniversity's state-of-the-art, all-you-can-eat dining facility. With a continuous morning to evening service, over twelve-hundred guests visit and dine here every meal. From plant-based cuisine to fresh, never frozen smash burgers, there's always something to suit every taste at The Tully. Offerings include family-style favorites, freshly made pizza, build your own stir-fry, made to order omelets, customizable pasta creations, allergen-friendly dining, and much more. Operated by a dedicated team of food & beverage specialists, Fairfield University Dining Services strives to maintain an atmosphere that guests could best describe as "a home away from home."

Meet the Dietitian

Mackenzie Gordon is a registered & licensed dietitian/nutritionist with an MS in dietetics from the University of Rhode Island & a BS in nutrition & dietetics from the University of New Haven. Having worked with Fairfield University Dining Services & Fairfield University since 2016, Mackenzie is always available for complimentary consultations on topics such as food allergies, celiac disease, diabetes, eating healthy on campus, vegan & vegetarian nutrition, weight management, and other special dietary needs. Mindful

Mindful is Sodexo's health & wellness approach that helps you make healthy choices second nature! We are committed to creating healthy environments for our customers. Central to this effort is providing healthy, nutritious foods. The result of this initiative is an approach that focuses on transparency of ingredients, delicious food, satisfying portions, and clarity in message so that you can make Mindful choices!

Mindful offerings meet stringent nutritional criteria based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Each meal part is limited in calories, has fewer than 30% of calories as fat, fewer than 10% of calories as saturated fat, and is restricted in sodium, and cholesterol. Look for the Mindful icon to indulge in the healthy and delicious items offered at each meal. 

Simple Servings

College can be complicated; choosing your next meal should not be. Also included in The Tully Dining Commons is the award-winning allergen-free concept, Simple Servings. With Simple Servings, guests are invited to enjoy freshly prepared foods that are naturally free of milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, and gluten.

My Zone by SodexoMy Zone is our campus "pantry" where food items needed by students with Celiac disease or nut allergies are stored and prepared with precautions against cross-contact. This area and station are free of tree nut, peanut, and gluten; serving up delicious hot entrees during every meal.

 

The Levee Pub

The Levee Pizza Pub serves a delicious variety of fresh-made New York style pizza, toasted grinders and more. 

The Levee is Fairfield University’s very own on-campus sports bar, located directly across from the main entrance to the Aloysius P. Kelley Center. Built in an L-shape, The Levee provides various seating for about 100-120 people, with booths and low/high bar tables. 

In addition to a variety of bands, dances, DJs and comedy shows, The Levee also has four large screen televisions, a billiard table, dart board, and is Wi-Fi friendly.

Stag Snack Bar

Located on the third floor of the Barone Campus Center, The Stag Snack Bar offers a wide variety of great-tasting, fun, and healthy foods. Great for students on the go as much as it is a place to gather with friends for a bite, The Stag offers the following meal options:

Rob & Iggy's Pizza

Offering fresh Neapolitan pizza, hot parmesan grinders, and an interactive pasta toss bar, Rob & Iggy's is a touch of Italy on campus! Watch all the fun as the team prepares hand-stretched dough or makes your pasta to order. You'll be back for more, trust us!

The Hart-Ford Grill

The Hart-Ford Grill offers an incredible line-up of fast-food favorites and guilty pleasures.Whether you're enjoying a fresh, never frozen 1/3lb. beef burger or trying out one of our 100% plant-based Beyond Burgers, you can't go wrong! Also serving delicious chicken, hot dogs, and breakfast sandwich selections.

The Stag Deli

Using the highest quality meats and ingredients, The Stag Deli specializes in handcrafted, made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and panini. Proudly serving Thumann's delicatessen products, which are free of artificial flavors & coloring, by-products, fillers,gluten, MSG, and trans fat.

Go Wasabi Sushi

The Stag Snack Bar is proud to serve Go Wasabi Korean and Japanese specialty foods. With an impressive array of clean label products, Go Wasabi is committed to providing customers with convenient and high-quality sushi, poke bowls, and bento boxes everyday.

The Stag Micro Market

The Stag Micro Market is a brand new dining destination that's perfect for busy Stags on the go. Conveniently located on the third floor of the Barone Campus Center, this venue features a delicious variety of fresh, gourmet entrees, as well as an array of popular snack and beverage selections. The Stag Micro Market is also introducing a new dimension of flexibility for meal plan holders. Stop by and use your meal swipe in exchange for a nutritious, home-style meal. They're ready when you are!

Located in the John A. Barone Campus Center in the heart of the campus, Dunkin' Campus Center is more than just a delicious cup of coffee and great-tasting food; it's the perfect place to stop and take a moment for yourself. Equipped with next-generation elements, Dunkin' Barone features signature cold beverages served through an innovative tap system, top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines, and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Also serving all your favorite donuts, baked goods, sandwiches, and wraps.

Dunkin' Library

Preparing to hunker down for a study session or group project? Dunkin' Library is ideally situated for studious Stag in search of a pick me up. Equipped with next-generation elements, Dunkin' Library features signature cold beverages served through an innovative tap system, top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines, and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Also serving a variety of your favorites, such as donuts, baked goods, sandwiches, and wraps. Located in the DiMenna-Nyselius Library.

Dunkin' Dolan

Located in the brand new Charles F. Dolan School of Business. Whether you're prepping for a presentation or caught between back to back turbos, Dunkin' DSB understands that Stags are always on the go. Stop by and enjoy a variety donuts, baked good, hot & iced beverages, including hot chocolate.

Dining Plans

More than 80 percent of undergraduates live on campus, with multiple meal plans to choose from, dining will always be a time with friends. Specially designed to offer flexibility and variety, feeling hungry will be the least of your worries!

First-Year and Sophomore Students

All first-year and sophomore students living in one of the University's residence halls - 70 McCormick Road, Campion, Claver, Faber Hall, Gonzaga, Jogues, Kostka, Loyola, or Regis are required to participate in a meal plan. This year, the 14 + 100 Meal Plan is the standard meal plan into which all students are enrolled. You may change your plan during the first full week of classes each semester by visiting mealplans.fairfield.edu

Juniors & Seniors

Juniors and seniors living in one of the University's residence halls are required to participate in a meal plan. This year, the 14 + 100 Meal Plan is the standard meal plan into which all students are enrolled. You may change your plan during the first full week of classes each semester by visiting mealplans.fairfield.edu. Besides the unlimited meal plan, juniors and seniors may choose the 7 + 600 Meal Plan.

Commuters, Apartment and Townhouse Residents, Off-Campus Boarders

Students who are classified by the Office of Residence Life as commuters, residents of the townhouses or apartments (Dolan Hall, 47 Mahan Road, and Meditz Hall), or off-campus boarders may participate in one of the meal plans below, as well as the 14, Unlimited, or 7 Meal Plans. Participation in any meal plan is optional and the price is not included in the townhouse or apartment fees.

Guest Meals

Participants in the 14, Unlimited, and 7 Meal Plans are each given two Guest Meals per semester. Guest Meals allow students to treat a friend or family member to any of the meals served in the Main Dining Room. Guest Meals do not carry over to the next semester.

Voluntary

45 Board Meals each Semester + 225 Dining Dollars

Students who are classified by the Office of Residence Life as commuters, residents of the townhouses or apartments (Dolan Hall, 47 Mahan Road, and Meditz Hall), or off-campus boarders may participate in one of the meal plans below, as well as the 14, Unlimited, or 7 MealPlans. Participation in any meal plan is optional, and the price is not included in the townhouse or apartment fees. Price: $795.00

65 Board Meals each Semester + 250 Dining Dollars

Students who are classified by the Office of Residence Life as commuters, residents of the townhouses or apartments (Dolan Hall, 47 Mahan Road, and Meditz Hall), or off-campus boarders may participate in one of the meal plans below, as well as the 14, Unlimited, or 7 MealPlans. Participation in any meal plan is optional, and the price is not included in the townhouse or apartment fees. Price: $1,080

 

Stag Bucks

How about a slice of pizza from the Snack Bar or bringing a friend to dinner at the dining hall?

The StagBucks account program enables students to supplement their meal plan with extra purchasing power for occasions just like these. StagBucks may be used to make purchases at the Barone Snack Bar, The Tully, Einstein Bros Bagels, The Library Café, University Bookstore, laundry services, vending machines, and the Dolan School of Business Cafe. Additionally, StagBucks can be used at the following off-campus retail partners:

Students can make a deposit on their StagBucks account by visiting the value transfer stations located in the Barone Campus Center and the DiMenna-Nyselius Library, by visiting the StagCard Office, or the online card office, www.stagcardonline.com.

Students will never have to worry about not having enough cash in hand to pay for that snack-attack, just present your card at any on-campus dining facility.

Food Allergies

We take pride in serving you wholesome ingredients, preparing recipes accurately, and providing nutritional analysis and ingredient statements through our online menus and nutrition calculator. From our general manager to our front line servers, we work carefully to address food allergies, celiac diets, or other special dietary needs. We want to meet one-on-one withanyone who has individual dining needs to ensure that your dining experience is safe, delicious, and social.
