Title IX Compliance

The University encourages any student who has been a victim of sexual assault or harrassment to report the incident to the University's Title IX Compliance Coordinator, Public Safety, or the Office of the Dean of Students.

Sexual misconduct is a form of gender-based discrimination prohibited by Title IX and other federal and state laws. Fairfield University does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its educational programs and activities, and has compliance processes in place. Inquiries concerning the application of Title IX may be made to the University's Title IX Compliance Coordinator/Investigator.

Sexual Assault Campus Resource Team (S.A.C.R.T.)

Our Sexual Assault Campus Resource Team works to provide students with a collaborative, survivor-centered, team response to sexual assault and ensure a transition from victim to survivor for every individual whose life is impacted by sexual violence. S.A.C.R.T. members provide counseling, medical attention, judicial services, advocacy, referrals, and general information regarding sexual assault. We strive to empower the survivor to make her/his own decisions by providing on- and off-campus resources, and then offer support as needed.
