Have a love for theatre? Do you want to give back to the community? Then Patients and Performance: Health Care Method Acting Certificate is the perfect opportunity for you! The Egan School is pleased to offer this three day immersive acting certificate program FREE in exchange for 10 unpaid hours in the role of a standardized patient in our new state-of-the-art simulation center the year following program completion. Upon completion of the 10 unpaid hours, simulation actors will earn $20/per hour. This certificate program is open to the public.

During each day's session, we will be layering acting methods in improv, empathy building exercises along with guided experiences that will allow actors to immerse themselves in the role of a patient.

Cost is FREE in exchange for 10 unpaid hours in the role of a standardized patient.

(Please note that space is limited to the first 16 people. Register early to participate in this certificate program.)

To register, contact Laura Strang at lstrang@fairfield.edu. Please include Standardize Patient Workshop in the subject line and your name, address, and phone within the email.
