Saving forests, changing lives! The Iracambi Research and Conservation Center is located near the boundary of Serra do Brigadeiro State Park, which is part of the UN Biosphere Reserves and shelters the most important remnant of seasonal semi-deciduous Atlantic Forest in the state of Minas Gerais. This program focuses on conserving, restoring and protecting the local biodiversity, working alongside the local community to promote sustainable development. Projects include applied research and practical techniques of conservation. Students interested in conservation, management, education, science, leadership, and cross-cultural communication are encouraged to apply.
