The Dolan School views practical experience as an important part of the academic program. The School guarantees an internship to every qualified junior or senior.

Professional Development Series

The Professional Development Series consists of events and workshops designed to supplement a student's academic development throughout their four years at Fairfield and provide a structured forum for students to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and networking strategies to leverage their business education into a productive career.

Sophomore Symposium

The Dolan School of Business Sophomore Symposium, offered during the fall semester, provides students with the necessary resources to successfully navigate their college career.

BEST Classroom

The Business Education Simulation and Trading (BEST) Classroom is a resource room available for students to utilize to supplement their coursework. The classroom (DSB 114) is equipped with a stock ticker and a data wall displaying real time quotes and 34 workstations loaded with software.

Fairfield StartUp Competition

Fairfield University’s StartUp Competition is a University-wide business plan competition where student entrepreneurs spend the academic year developing a business plan for a product or service in an attempt to win prizes totaling $20,000 to develop their businesses.
