Career staff in the University Career Center and School Centers work with undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni. We are committed to helping Stags throughout their career development process and encourage students to explore to explore all the University's career offerings.

Fairfield's career offices also host events including workshops, panels, career fairs, and much more, designed to enhance students' skills and expose them to a wide range of industries and professional opportunities.

Events & Programs

At Fairfield University, the Career Center offers a number of events and programs for students to network and build connections with alumni. These events and programs include Alumni Job Shadow, Career Fairs, Peer Advisor Program, Senior Seminar and Sophomore Success.

Faculty & RAs

The Career Center serves all students, first-year through senior year as well as graduate students and alumni. Whether students are just beginning to think about careers or applying for internships, jobs or graduate school the Career Center can help. This includes one-on-one career counseling sessions and workshops.


If you've ever wondered if a particular career is a good fit for you, internships are a terrific way to find out. Hands-on, professional experience is available to Fairfield students at leading companies in every field - including banking and commerce, arts and communications, science and medicine, education, engineering and high technology, and philanthropy and service.


The Career Center provides services to help your student make informed career decisions and learn effective job search skills. As parents you can be very helpful with your child's career planning and we welcome your support by encouraging your child to visit with the Career Center early in their academic career.

The Career Center offers many services to assist students and alumni at any stage of their career development process and maintains strong partnerships with companies that regularly hire Fairfield graduates.

Stags 4 Hire

Stags4Hire is Fairfield University’s primary job and internship posting resource. Fairfield undergraduate and graduate students and alumni have complete access to Stags4Hire. Stags4Hire is a free posting site that provides all participating employers with 24/7 access to job posting and candidate applications. In addition to posting job and internship opportunities, participating employers have the ability to schedule interviews on campus and utilize our on-campus interview facilities.

InterviewStream allows students to practice interview skills by going through a realistic interview experience where you are asked challenging questions based on the type of interview you have selected. The software records you as you respond to the questions and then loads your mock interview into your own personal InterviewStream account.
