Choose from over 15 athletics camps, academic programs, and arts experiences available to students grades 1-12. Our state-of-the-art athletic facilities, academic resources, and acclaimed camp leaders are here to make your summer youth camp experience special while providing your student with a fun and inspiring learning environment.
This renowned children’s summer theatre program offers six sessions and five productions from which to choose. A total of 60 community children, grades 1-12, may be registered in each weekly session, which will feature a performance on the Friday evening at the end of each session. This preeminent professional children's theatre company is a non-profit organization from Missoula, Montana, that tours the country and serves 300 communities every year.
Summer camp intensives at the Fairfield University’s Quick Center for the Arts are a great platform to delve into exciting art forms. Crash courses in cool exciting subjects like photography, hip-hop, fashion, and graffiti are lead by amazing local artists.
For 30 years, Emagination has been the perfect summer camp for kids around the world who love technology. Campers have the option to participate in a two-week STEM focused programming camp where they will learn to code and build Window applications, or a two-week tech camp, where they will participate in a series of three workshops available in a variety of subjets including web design, virtual reality, robotics, game design, Photoshop, and 3D printing, to name a few.
For over 30 years, Connecticut Writing Project (CWP) Fairfield, an affiliate of the National Writing Project, has been a leader in writing instruction in Southern Connecticut. Young Adult Literacy Labs are designed for students grades 3-12 to partake in one and two-week writing summer workshops that are academically-enriching, creativity-enhancing, confidence-boosting, student-centered and stress-free. Days are packed with writing, wordplay, collaborative projects, presentations by professional writers ,and more. Sessions include poetry, college essay, novel, and advocacy writing, as well as new labs in digital journalism and sports writing.
All students have the opportunity to become published writers by submitting their work to be included in POW The Anthology printed each year. CWP-Fairfield also hosts a widely recognized, two-week scholarship writing lab for relocated and refugee youth, Ubuntu Academy.
At iD Tech Camps, students ages 7-17 learn code, design video games, produce videos, mod Minecraft, create Roblox, engineer robots, model and print 3-D characters, work with AI and machine learning, build laptops, learn about cyber security, and more! Kids and teens can explore a prestigious camp, make friends as they master new skills, and join a community of 350,000 iD Tech alumni.
Campers ages 7-18 can sign up for one or more one week sessions of residential and day programs with America's original computer camp. Each week, beginner to advanced levels are offered. An optional sports program is also available, as well as a weekly morning only program for 7-8 year olds. The camp is directed by Michael Zabinski, Ph.D., Fairfield University professor of engineering.
SIG Day programs are three-week academic summer camps for gifted and talented students ages 4-12. The program combines captivating courses with social, cultural and recreational opportunities for a truly engaging summer.
Fairfield University Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jay Young, and his staff of experienced, qualified coaches will teach the campers the basic fundamentals of the game. Campers will have the chance to learn from current and former players, as well as local college coaches. Each camper plays on a team with players of his own age and is given equal playing time. At the Fairfield University Nike Softball Camp, players ages 10-18 have the opportunity to receive instruction from some of the finest instructors in the Northeast. Our goal is to stimulate a passion for softball in young players, provide them time to work on their offensive and defensive skills, improve their technique, and have a blast while doing it. Fairfield University women’s basketball coach Joe Frager and his staff of professional educators teach female students, ages 8-16, basic fundamentals and advanced theory. Each student plays on a team with players of her own age and ability and is taught conditioning exercises and drills used by college and pro players, as well as challenge and motivation techniques for the off-season. The object of the Fairfield Stags Soccer Camp is to provide fun instruction and excitement in a closely supervised and organized environment to enhance development as a soccer player. The key role of the camp is to combine learning and improving basic soccer skills with fun skill instruction and games. Position specific sessions allow all campers to receive coaching advice pertaining to the particular position they play from the experienced Fairfield Men’s Soccer staff. Ages range from 6-14 years and is for boys only.
Our mission is to provide a fun environment where girls will receive professional coaching and instruction to enhance their overall development. Players will enjoy skill training and learn techniques utilizing individual ball work, competitive small-sided games and larger field exercises to learn all aspects of the game.
