Session Dates & Courses

Our non-credit, primarily online Pre-College Nursing Program runs from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12, 2024 and includes valuable information sessions to discuss the college process and other related topics. Students may be invited to campus for one day and class to visit and experience our state-of-the-art simulation lab in the Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies. This on campus visit is optional and virtual arrangements can be made.

Nursing: The Possibilities are Endless

Session Dates: July 8 to July 12, 2024
Description: 
In this track, students spend a week in the world of nursing, learning about the many opportunities available in this growing profession. Specific opportunities include the basics of first aid, CPR, and virtual classes in our state-of-the-art simulation lab. Students will come away with an understanding of the many possibilities a career in nursing holds with a targeted focus on their personal interests for their future in healthcare.

Application Process

The Pre-College Nursing Online Program is open to rising sophomore, junior, and senior high school students, ages 15 and older. The cost for the program is $1,200.

Required application materials include an unofficial transcript to verify a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher and no suspensions on record. The unofficial transcript can be uploaded with the online application, or can be sent at a later date by email precollege@fairfield.edu.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, June 21, 2024. 

Refund Policy: Full refunds (minus the cost of the CPR kit) are granted up to the start of the program. Due to the condensed nature of this program, no refunds can be provided after the start of the program on July 8.
