Parents Leadership Counci

A message from Fairfield’s Parents Leadership Council Chairs….

Parents at the entrance to the New York Stock ExchangeWe are honored to be serving as the Parents Leadership Council Chairs in 2017-18. We have three sons and two daughters-in-law who have all attended Fairfield University. Our two older sons graduated in 2009 and 2010 and our third son Ryan will graduate in 2018. He is currently enjoying a semester abroad in Florence, Italy, one of the many educational opportunities offered at Fairfield.

Through our many years at Fairfield, we have seen firsthand how impactful a Jesuit education can be in the formation of young men and women. We are so pleased with our sons’ experiences at Fairfield that we have become actively involved in supporting the University through the Parents Leadership Council.

We invite you to join us as members of the Parents Leadership Council. This Council brings together parents who are committed to seeing the University thrive and supporting it at a leadership level. Members will be given the opportunity to play an active role, by serving as ambassadors, attending or hosting events and offering their unique perspective, all of which will contribute to Fairfield’s continued success.

Your leadership gift of $5,000 or more, renewed annually, establishes you as a member of the Parents Leadership Council. As parents, we are all invested in the success of our students, and the success of Fairfield University which is providing the academic foundation for their future careers. The Parents Leadership Council is an opportunity to maximize that investment.

Volunteer for Career Planning

Connections within the Fairfield University community are vital for creating experiences and contacts for our students. The Career Planning Center is looking for parents that are able to provide internship opportunities, be a mentor to a student, or participate in the Job Shadow program. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Julie Tuozzoli, director of development for Parents and School of Engineering, at jtuozzoli@fairfield.edu

Volunteer for Admissions

We would like the Parents Leadership Council members to be ambassadors for Fairfield University and we need your help in getting the word out about the university to prospective students and recommending strong students for admissions. The admissions office also needs volunteers to attend college fairs across the country and hosts for admitted or perspective events.
