Students Learn Financial Planning Skills at "Money Talks" Seminar

Financial planning workshops for all class years and majors on October 19.

The Dolan School of Business Professional Development Series (PDS) will host the second "Money Talks" seminar on Thursday, October 19 for students and recent graduates. The host of the seminar is Scott Brenner, adjunct professor of accounting and managing partner at Dylewsky, Goldberg & Brenner, LLC.

Topics covered will include saving for retirement, budgeting, and managing debt. The seminar aims to provide current students and recent graduates with an understanding of money management, and give them the knowledge that will help them in their lives after Fairfield.

Current students should register for this event through OrgSync and recent graduates should contact Sarah Bollinger, director of internships and professional development, to sign up. The seminar will be held in the Library Auditorium, Room 101, at 5 p.m. For current students this event satisfies a DSB PDS Level 4 requirement.

Can't make the first seminar? Students will have additional opportunities to participate on November 15 and during the spring semester.

This event is co-sponsored by the Dolan School of Business and the School of Engineering.
