Downtown Bookstore Kicks-Off the Holiday Season with an Open House, Dec. 9

Get into the holiday spirit with the many, very-merry, family events at the Downtown Bookstore.

The Downtown Fairfield University Bookstore invites the public to a Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. A variety of entertainment and special guest appearances are planned for all ages, including live music, games, authors, costume characters, cake, and balloons! Guests will also have an opportunity to enjoy and discover some wonderful holiday gift-giving ideas. Families are invited to meet children’s book character, North Pole Ninja, and Fairfield's own Lucas the Stag mascot. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos. Little ones are welcome to holiday goodie bags while supplies last.

ENTREE NOUS 2018 - Meet & Greet with creator Elizabeth Menke

ENTREE NOUS 2018 is a guide book to 12 of Fairfield County’s finest restaurants, doubles as a personal invitation— when eating out for 2 at a featured restaurant, bring your guide book for stamping and one guest will receive a complimentary entree. Books available for purchase and signing.

Guinness World Records Bookstore Challenge

Time: 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.

Test your skills with dominos, paper clips, plastic cups, paper airplanes, word search, chop sticks and more, fun for all ages. Winners take home prizes!
