Host of NBC’s Meet the Press Political Moderator Chuck Todd, Presented by Fairfield University’s Bennett Center for Judaic Studies

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (March 1, 2018)— Seasoned journalist and TV veteran Chuck Todd, moderator of Meet the Press , host of MTP Daily on MSNBC, and Political Director for NBC News , will deliver Fairfield University’s 2018 Bennett Center in Judaic Studies lecture entitled, “ Politics and Jewish Identity in Today’s America ” at the Quick Center for the Arts on Tuesday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Earning a reputation as one of the most passionate journalists and sharpest analysts in American media, Todd will offer a comprehensive picture of the current political landscape. He will discuss and interpret the voting patterns of American Jews as well as political issues of greatest interest to them. He will also offer his perspective on the Trump administration, through a Jewish lens.

Before joining Meet the Press , Todd served as the NBC News Chief White House correspondent from 2008-2014, and as the host of MSNC’s The Daily Rundown . In 2007, he was named political director for NBC News where he runs all facets of the NBC News Division’s political coverage and analysis. Additionally, he is the editor of First Read, NBC’s guide to political news and trends in and around Washington, D.C.

Todd co-authored the definitive election analysis book How Barack Obama Won and wrote The Stranger: Barack Obama in the White House , which was released in 2014. He is a frequent contributor to The New York Times , Washington Post , and the Atlantic Monthly , where he is a contributing editor.
