FAIRFIELD, Conn. (August 30, 2017) —Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts announces the new School Matinee Series lineup for the 2017-18 season.

For more than 25 years, the Quick Center has offered local schools the opportunity to expose their students to live theatre experiences. In that time, more than 40,000 students in pre-K through twelfth grades have traveled from Fairfield, Bridgeport, and surrounding communities to attend the Quick’s School Matinee Series, supported in part by the Quick Center for the Arts Education and Outreach Fund.

In addition to offering study guides to augment the learning experience, the Quick offers educational workshops and hands-on learning with many of our artists each year. Lori Jones, director of programming and audience development shared, “The Quick is committed to providing incredible arts experiences to audiences of all ages, but we are particularly focused on arts education for young people in our communities as we believe that live arts experiences not only enhance their learning, but ignite creativity and offer a new view of the world around them.”
