What: The Dolan School of Business Marketing Club presents Chairman and CEO of the BIC Group, Bruno Bich, who will lecture on “Marketing in a Global Economy.”

Who: Bruno Bich is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the BIC Group. He recently resumed his function as Chief Executive Officer in June 2016, after serving as Chairman of the Board from 2006 to 2016. In 1993, Bich was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the BIC Group, succeeding the company’s founder, his father, Marcel Bich, who founded the company now known as BIC, in 1950. Today BIC is an international billion dollar corporation — best known for its pens — and one of the most well known French brands worldwide.

Prior to his nomination as BIC Group Chairman, Bruno Bich served for nine years as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BIC Corporation, the company's North American subsidiary.  Bich led the development of the subsidiary, which now represents more than 40% of the Group's sales. Rising through the ranks in the U.S. business, he held several key corporate positions including Vice President of Sales and Marketing and National Sales Manager.

Bruno Bich began his career by working for five years in the corporate finance department of White, Weld & Company, the investment banking firm, before joining BIC. He holds bachelor's degrees in marketing and finance from New York University.

This event is free and open to the public.
