NT Live presents Hamlet, Shakespeare’s classic of revenge delayed, starring Oscar-nominated Benedict Cumberbatch

National Theatre Live will broadcast the widely anticipated Hamlet , starring Benedict Cumberbatch and directed by Lyndsey Turner with two HD screenings at the Quick Center on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2 & 7 p.m.

Academy Award nominee, and Emmy Award-winner, Benedict Cumberbatch takes on the title role in Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy. Forced to avenge his father's death, but paralyzed by the task, Hamlet rages against the constraints of his predicament. His own sanity is threatened, as is the security of Denmark as it poised on the brink of war.
