Martha Stewart’s Appetizers is a collection of some of Stewart’s favorite “fuss-free party foods,” the latest in her vast collection of published works. Released in early September by publishing house Clarkson Potter, the book has over 200 recipes for “snacks, starters, small plates, stylish bites, and sips.” Stewart says the book is meant to reflect the “new casualness” and relaxed approach to at-home entertaining, and also includes “Golden Rules for Hosting a Party,” and tips and strategies for party planning.

“Fairfield University has a long history of offering inspiring and stimulating events for the community,” said Jennifer Anderson, Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “We’re excited to welcome Martha Stewart and include Appetizers to the growing repertoire of trusted, go-to cookbooks.”

Stewart’s first book, Entertaining , was released in 1982 and since then she has gone on to publish 78 award-winning cooking and creativity publications while launching her media empire. Stewart has long been heralded for her culinary talents, and in 2014 she won a James Beard Award for her television program, Martha Stewart’s Cooking School.

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, the media company Stewart founded, reaches approximately 100 million consumers across all media platforms each month with an expansive portfolio that includes award-winning magazines, bestselling books, innovative websites and apps, and television and video programming.
