FAIRFIELD, Conn. (November 2, 2015) — Dinesh Paliwal, Chairman, President and CEO of HARMAN, will deliver Fairfield University’s annual Charles F. Dolan Lecture at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11 in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room. Paliwal’s talk, "The War for Talent is Real – Who's Winning, Who's Losing and What's at Stake," is free and open to the public.

When Paliwal took the position to run HARMAN in 2007 the company was experiencing declining sales and a stale product line. Paliwal realized that in order to transform the company he needed to start first with its people.

During his first 18 months at HARMAN, Paliwal rebuilt the entire leadership team. Paliwal’s focus is not only finding the best employees in today’s market, but also putting an emphasis on mentoring and employee development programs. The Charles F. Dolan Lecture series was established in 2001 and features highly accomplished, visionary and internationally recognized business leaders.
