Ivoryton, Connecticut resident awarded Fairfield University’s Bellarmine Medal

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (June 1, 2015) - Fairfield University’s 2015 Bellarmine Medal, awarded to the student with the highest academic average, was presented to Ashley Rose Paholski, of Ivoryton, Connecticut. She maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average throughout her undergraduate years at Fairfield.

Fairfield University President Rev. Jeffrey P. von Arx, S.J., presented the medal to Paholski at the Jesuit institution’s 65th commencement exercises held May 17, 2015.

Paholski earned a bachelor’s degree in English, with a concentration in Literature and Cultural Studies from the College of Arts & Sciences. She minored in mathematics and education. She plans to attend Georgetown University Law School beginning this fall.
