Nationally known interior design expert reveals the secrets to eco-elegance

Fairfield University Bookstore hosts Trudy Dujardin

Let Trudy Dujardin, an award-winning interior designer, show you how to satisfy both your passions at  "Comfort Zone: Creating The Eco-Elegant Interior," an inspiring talk at 7 p.m., Monday, October 6 at Fairfield University Bookstore, 1499 Post Road, Fairfield. This event is free and open to the public.

Dujardin, author of "Comfort Zone: Creating The Eco-Elegant Interior" (Pointed Leaf Press), is nationally known for her interest in eco-elegance, as well as award-winning interiors that combine sophisticated use of color and an intuitive understanding of her clients' lifestyles. Her graceful approach reflects a deep respect for historic preservation, the surrounding landscape and abundant comfort. Based on her belief that a healthy home is the ultimate luxury, she is a LEED-accredited professional with a specialty in interior design and construction.

Dujardin, president of Dujardin Design Associates of Westport, Conn., and Nantucket, Mass., serves on Traditional Home Magazine's Green Advisory Panel, and has written a column, Gently Green , for Nantucket-based Portfolio Magazine. She is a member of the advisory board of atHome Magazine . Her breathtaking interiors have appeared in the most prestigious industry publications.
