Fairfield University's Charles F. Dolan School of Business is pleased to announce a new partnership with Fitch Learning to offer a Level I Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) exam preparation course to professionals in the financial industry, as well as to finance undergraduate and graduate alumni of Fairfield University.

The Dolan School of Business and Fitch Learning will host a free information/orientation session on Thursday, September 4 at 6 p.m., in Fairfield University's Kelley Center where those interested can learn more about the CFA course and exam. The session will also provide information about course costs and the opportunities that being a CFA presents. Fitch Learning is a leading provider of CFA preparation for corporations, universities and independent students. Last year alone, the company helped more than 3,000 students prepare for the CFA exams. According to Donald E. Gibson, Ph.D., dean of the Dolan School of Business, Fitch Learning's significant experience of training graduate groups and interns at the world's leading investment banks and asset managers means Fitch knows what skills and qualifications graduates need under their belts when they hit the job market.

This fall, Fairfield will offer three Fitch Learning opportunities: A nine-week instructor-led course that will meet on Saturdays at the Dolan School of Business; an online study package, which includes access to the Fitch Learning online study portal and mobile app; and a two-day on campus review course. All prepare the student for the Level 1 Exam in December.

There is also the option to add on an intensive two-day review class closer to the exam. The anticipated review dates are Saturday, November 15-Sunday, November 16; Thursday, November 20-Friday, November 21; or Monday, December 1-Tuesday, December 2.
