Who : Richard Wagner's Parsifal presented by The Met: Live in HD

Jonas Kaufmann stars in the title role of the innocent who finds wisdom in this re-envisioning of Wagner's final masterpiece, conducted by Daniele Gatti and directed by noted film and opera director François Girard. The cast features actress Katarina Dalayman as Kundry, the mystical woman who tempts Parsifal; Peter Mattei in his debut role as Amfortas, king of the Knights of the Holy Grail; René Pape as the wise old knight Gurnemanz; and Evgeny Nikitin as the magician Klingsor.

What: The Met: Live in HD is a series of high definition opera transmissions of The Metropolitan Opera's new season direct from Lincoln Center's Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. With strategically placed cameras in front of, around and behind The Metropolitan Opera House stage, The Met: Live in HD transmissions give Quick Center audiences a state-of-the art opera experience and better-than-front-row-seat visibility.
