The education services company features the school and its MBA program in the new 2012 edition of its book, "The Best 294 Business Schools" (Random House / Princeton Review). Editors did not rank the business schools in the book on a single hierarchical list from 1 to 294, or name one business school best overall.

Donald E. Gibson, Ph.D., dean of the Dolan School, pointed out that the school is on the exclusive list of graduate business programs for the seventh time in a row. "What is most gratifying about being included in this guidebook is that it is based on the opinions of Dolan School students," he said.

"Armed with a 'strong reputation' coupled with a 'strong commitment to the Jesuit ideals of serving others,' it's no surprise that students flock to attend Fairfield University's MBA program," editors wrote, quoting students. "Students here greatly appreciate that the school 'caters to people who work full time.' "

Editors also quote Dolan School students who "are ebullient when it comes to describing their professors." Students said the school's faculty members "encourage students to think for themselves, even if that means challenging the professors in class."

Fairfield students also commented on the "solid preparation" the school provides in finance and accounting. In addition, it was observed that the University's Career Center "is truly focused on helping students find coveted internship and employment opportunities. The office endeavors to take advantage of the school's prime location between Boston and New York, developing relationships and connections with companies in both cities."

Dolan School students shared that their classmates are "friendly," "hardworking," "creative," and "dedicated." There is also a healthy mix of students in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, they added. For more information, visit http://www.fairfield.edu/dsb/index.html .
