Fairfield University offers free workshop in leadership skills February 16


Image: Paul Maloney Today's leaders function in a dynamic and ever-changing environment and leadership skills are more in demand than ever. Dr. Paul Maloney, assistant professor of the practice in applied psychology in Fairfield University's Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions, leads a free full day workshop on campus at Alumni House on Wednesday, Feb. 16 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The capacity is limited and reservations are required. The workshop is designed to help participants develop leadership skills that will enable them to deal effectively with changing situations using different styles. Through case studies, discussion, and role-play, participants will learn to:

Maloney's career includes senior management and development positions at NBC, Mobil Oil Corporation and PepsiCo International and he has consulted worldwide for American Airlines, GE, Schering-Plough, Kodak, Chrysler Capital, Artisan Software, Nielsen Media Research, and many other organizations. His specialties include change management, leadership, executive feedback and coaching, and presentation skills. He served as a lieutenant in the navy and later earned his doctorate from the University of Virginia.
