Fairfield University will host a series of exhibits and presentations during the last week in March in honor of Women's History Month to be led by Elizabeth Hohl, visiting assistant professor of history and co-director of women's studies, and Elizabeth Hastings, director of community and lifetime education at University College. The celebrations, free and open to the public, will begin on Monday, March 22 and run through Tuesday, March 30.

Highlighting the planned events is an exhibit from the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame, "We Fight For Roses, Too: Connecticut Women and the Quest for Equality," which will kick off the opening reception of the festivities on Monday, March 22 at 5 p.m. in the Oak Room of the John A. Barone Campus Center. The exhibit will consist of 22 free-standing panels dedicated to the stories, struggles, and achievements of the organization's inductees. Katherine Wiltshire, executive director of the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame, and Edna F. Wilson, dean of University College, will present a welcoming address at the event. The exhibit will remain on display until Friday, March 26.

· Women, Politics, and Public Life
Tuesday, March 23 at 12 p.m. in the Oak Room of the John A. Barone Campus Center
Brown bag lunch discussion facilitated by Jocelyn Boryczka, assistant professor of politic and Elizabeth Hohl, visiting assistant professor of history.

· Wage Theft in America
Tuesday, March 23 at 8 p.m. in the Oak Room of the John A. Barone Campus Center. Lecture by Kim Bobo, director of Interfaith Worker Justice Committee, Chicago

· Women in Sports
Wednesday, March 24 at 12 p.m. in the Oak Room of the John A. Barone Campus Center
Brown bag lunch discussion on Wednesday, March 24 at 12 p.m. facilitated by Catherine Giapponi, assistant professor of management in the Dolan School of Business and Jeanne Dimuzio, former assistant director of Recreation/Wellness.

Thursday, March 25 at 12 p.m. in the Oak Room of the John A. Barone Campus Center
Brown bag lunch discussion facilitated by Rose Rodrigues, chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Susan Franzosa, dean of the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions,  and Wendy Kohli professor of teaching and foundations, and Barbara Welles-Nystrom, associate professor of curriculum and instruction, both in the Graduate School of Education.

· What Do Women Want: Promise Keepers and Million Man March in Post-Modern America
Tuesday, March 30 at 8 p.m. in the Charles F. Dolan School of Business Dining Room
Lecture by Dr. Deborah Gray White, distinguished professor of history at Rutgers University.
