2nd annual "Poetry for Peace" winners' celebration

More than 60 winners of Fairfield University's "Poetry for Peace" contest will be honored on Thursday, January 28th, from 6-7:30 p.m., in the Aloysius P. Kelley Center. All are welcome.

Established in 2008, the "Poetry for Peace" contest invites K-8th grade students from Bridgeport and Fairfield schools to submit poems written on the theme of peace. Over 700 submissions were received this year, with the winners chosen by a panel of Fairfield University faculty and undergraduate and graduate students from the Graduate School of Education and Applied Professions.
