Quick Center for the Arts opens its Young Audience Series on Sunday Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. with Theatreworks/USA's production of "Click Clack Moo" a new musical based on the Caldecott Award-winning book by Doreen Cronin with pictures by Betsy Lewin. On Monday, Oct. 5 the ArtsBound Schoolday Series begins again at 10 a.m. with an encore performance. The ArtsBound Series is sponsored in part by Fairfield County Community Foundation and the Herman Goldman Foundation.

All day long Farmer Brown hears "click clack moo, clickety clackety moo..." The cows are typing and protesting their working conditions!  "Click Clack Moo" is a hilariously "moo-ving" new musical about compromise. Audiences from age 4 and up will find it very entertaining.

The musical features a book by Billy Aronson (TV's "The Wonder Pets," "Postcards from Buster"), lyrics by Kevin Del Aguila ("Altar Boyz," Theatreworks' "If You Give a Pig a Pancake"), music by Brad Alexander (Tony Award-winner for Broadway's "Urinetown") and choreography by Wendy Seyb (Off-Broadway's "Walmartopia"). Designers include scenery by Beowulf Boritt (Broadway's "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," "LoveMusik"), costumes by Lora LaVon (Theatreworks/USA's "Junie B. Jones" and "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere").

Tickets are $15 adults, $12 children; the ArtsBound Schoolday Series tickets are $7 and all tickets are available on the Quick Center website, at fairfield.edu/quick or by calling the Box Office at (203) 254-4010. The toll free number is 877-ARTS-396. Outreach Program Study Guides and further information are available at fairfield.edu/quick .
