Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts to show The New York Times 'TimesTalks LIVE' discussions, co-presented with BY Experience, Inc.

Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts announced today it will participate in the TimesTalks LIVE programs for this fall. The events are discussions between New York Times journalists and top newsmakers. They take place at TheTimesCenter in New York City and will be transmitted in high definition via satellite to the Quick Center, as well as to movie theaters and other venues participating across the United States and Canada. The program is co-presented with BY Experience.

The first scheduled events will feature John Irving in conversation with Times writer at large Charles McGrath, live, on Wednesday, Oct. 28; and Stephen King in conversation with Times book critic Janet Maslin on Wednesday, Nov. 11., in a pre-taped presentation. Audiences will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance for consideration by the respective moderator of each event through the TimesTalks Web site, www.TimesTalks.com .
