Students to hold fundraiser for Haiti and Darfur at Fairfield University on Saturday, March 28

The Advertising Club at Fairfield University is hosting "Mission HD," a fundraiser for "Stop Haiti Hunger" and the Darfur "Not on Our Watch Project" on Saturday, March 28th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on campus at the Levee. The public is welcome.

First Selectman Ken Flatto is lending his support to the project. Several businesses in Fairfield, including Lucy's Kitchen, Village Bagel, Chef's Table and Beach Bum Tanning are contributors to the event. The Advertising Club, led by Dan Toplitt, president, has planned a festive event with a variety of bands and poetry readings. A silent auction, bake sale and 50-50 raffle are planned.
