What: A Press Conference and Photo Exhibit at the opening of an international photo exhibit showing the daily experiences of young people in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) centres in Georgia. This exhibition is the culmination of an innovative project to provide children and young people in collective centres with cameras to show the reality of their daily lives since their displacement in the recent conflict. 'A Day In A Life' not only challenges our understanding of the lives of those affected by war, but also reveals incredible natural talent on the part of the children.

Who: Fairfield University, in association with the Harriman Institute, New York and Youth Union of Public Movement 'Multinational Georgia' (YUPMMG)

Where: Jointly held at Fairfield University Quick Center for the Arts in the Lawrence A. Wien Experimental (Black Box) Theatre, Columbia University, New York, Tbilisi, Brussels, Warsaw, Berlin and Coventry

When: Tuesday, February 24 at 7 p.m. Exhibit remains through Feb. 27.

Purpose: To raise awareness of these displace young people and to raise funds for positive ventures aimed at social and financial rehabilitation of IDP communities in Georgia. Entrance fee for the general public by optional donation, $6 per person- all proceeds will go directly to help Georgia IDP youth.
