Ali Abdul Majeed, who just completed his freshman year at Fairfield University, is featured this week on the Voice of America Global College Forum.

Majeed, who came to Fairfield from Baghdad in a program called the Iraqi Student Project, is majoring in both biology and mathematics and is preparing for dental school. In the interview he says that education "makes you a better person as well as those that cross your path in life." As he prepares for the fall semester, he says he will be focusing on courses in his major and starting a club for international students. He has been accepted into the honors program.
