Fairfield University offers popular six-session course in Feng Shui

University College at Fairfield University offers its second annual six-session Feng Shui course in the Interior Design Program. It will be held from Sept. 19 to Oct. 24 on Friday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 12 Noon. This course is quickly gaining popularity and allows for numerous opportunities for those who are interested.

As an experienced designer and Feng Shui consultant, instructor Mary Moross lays a solid foundation of the history and evolutionary philosophy of this ancient Chinese practice. With the background she provides, students have the facility to understand and convey the logic of Feng Shui when using it as part of their work.

A graduate of Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Moross received a BFA from the University of Minnesota in Art History and Fine Arts. She holds a certification for Feng Shui from the Huazhong University in Wuhan, China and from the New England School of Feng Shui.  Moross ran her own design business for ten years during which time she designed rugs, floorcloths, window treatments, lamps, china and tabletop accessories. Her creativity and knowledge has helped enhance the lives of her many residential and commercial clients. Moross is a resident of Norwalk, Conn. and has taught Feng Shui in the greater New York area for more than eight years.
