Career night for Charles F. Dolan School of Business students

On Wednesday, Nov. 1, Fairfield University's Charles F. Dolan School of Business will host a career night for all Dolan School of Business students. The event is an effort to help students network with business professionals at the top of their game and to gain valuable career advice in the process.

The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Dolan School Dining Room. It is sponsored by the Dolan School of Business Advisory Council. Participants will include Chris Desmarais, Gabelli Asset Management; Maive Scully, General Electric Money; Kevin Piccoli, Bank of New York; John O'Neill, Ernst & Young; Ernie Pittarelli, Sailfish Capital; Joe Sargent, Guardian Life; Frank Carroll, Oak Tree Capital; Kevin Shea, Goldman Sachs; and Steven Siwinski, Ernst & Young.

Norm Solomon, Ph. D., Dean of the Dolan School, said the event will provide a forum for students to talk to business leaders who can help shape their careers. "We give our students the foundation that they need for success in the business world through our classroom offerings and extensive internship opportunities. However, this event is further evidence of how we are helping our students gain a competitive edge. By putting them in the same room as top business professionals, we are giving them a chance to get their foot in the door of some of the best corporations in our country. They also will certainly receive practical career advice."
