Fairfield University to launch live teleconference of 11th Annual Luminary Series, "Leading to Greatness: Building True Success Wherever You Live and Work"

The Charles F. Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University will present a live satellite transmission of the 11th Annual Worldwide Luminary Series, featuring former Chairman and CEO of General Electric Jack Welch, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Hewlett Packard Chairman and CEO Carly Fiorina, bestselling business author Dr. Stephen Covey, bestselling author of "The Tipping Point" and "Blink" Malcolm Gladwell, and world renowned leadership expert Marcus Buckingham.

"Leading to Greatness: Building True Success Wherever You Live and Work," will be shown on Wednesday, November 2, from 10:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport. Fairfield is one of more than 60 universities to air the program, which will be broadcast live from Washington, D.C.

The daylong telecast, which will air in 30 countries and in more than 90 locations throughout the United States, is designed to teach the strategies behind success, ideas and innovations that are on the frontline of leadership. Teaching how to cultivate leadership success for any organization, the program aims toward a wide audience, including those managing a team, leading an organization, or just starting a career.

The conference pledges to teach a variety of strategies, including how to build powerful teams, lead with the end in mind, achieve strategies to enable employees to think differently and work smarter, evaluate your business results and your means to obtain them, develop a passion for your work, anticipate future strategies, and identify new frameworks for solving challenges and realizing your potential.
