More than 80 employers to recruit at Fairfield University Career Fair

Fairfield University will host between 80 and 85 employers, ranging from financial services and marketing firms to healthcare organizations and retailers, at a Career Fair on Thursday, March 4, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. The fair will take place at Alumni Hall on Fairfield University's campus and is open to Fairfield University students and recent alumni.

"I think the economy is starting to show signs of a rebound and I think the number of organizations participating in the Career Fair is a very encouraging sign that our economy is coming back," said Dennis Amrine, associate director for Career Planning at Fairfield University.

Among the employers who will be on hand at the fair are: American Express Financial Advisors, AmeriCorps, Boehringer Ingelheim, CBS News, Danbury Health Systems, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, First Investors Corporation, Hewitt Associates, Intellisponse, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Memorial Sloan-Kettering, NewsAmerica Marketing, PricewaterhouseCoopers, St. Vincent's Medical Center, T-Mobile USA, Waddell & Reed Financial Services, and Yale New Haven Health System.
