Steven J. Kapuscinski of Westfield, N.J. honored for work in mathematics

Steven J. Kapuscinski of Westfield, N.J., was honored with the Arthur F. Dershowitz Award in Mathematics at Fairfield University's College of Arts & Sciences Awards Ceremony. The Award is given to a student who has shown a curiosity and scholarship beyond classroom performance.

A math major, Steven took 66 credits in mathematics and computer science courses, well beyond the 47 that are required. At Fairfield he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most prestigious academic honor society, and served as vice president of Pi Mu Epsilon, the national mathematics honor society.

Steven graduated cum laude in May with a bachelor of science degree and has taken a position with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
