Eric F. Donnelly of Bridgeport honored for work in music and philosophy

Eric F. Donnelly of Bridgeport, Conn., was recognized at Fairfield University's Arts & Sciences Awards Ceremony for his work in music and philosophy. A double major in music and philosophy, Eric received the Mary Louise Larrabee Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music and the Carl J. Levantino Award for Excellence in the Study of Philosophy.

Eric, who graduate in May, magna cum laude, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most prestigious academic honor society, and to Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society. He served as a mission volunteer, including to Tiajuana, Mexico, and was an integral part of the Jazz Ensemble and a member of the Pep Band.
