Fairfield Earns High Marks in U.S. News and World Report's National Rankings
For the 24th consecutive year, Fairfield University has ranked in the top 2% of its peer group. The new polling done by U.S. News and World Report found Fairfield to be the third highest ranked University in the North Region.
The University was also acclaimed for its “Strong Commitment to Undergraduate Teaching,” high freshman retention rate (88%), and six-year graduation rate (82%).
“Fairfield has long been highly ranked among its peer institutions, indicative of our overall academic excellence and commitment to an outstanding educational experience for our students,” said Dr. Lynn Babington, senior vice president for academic affairs at Fairfield. “We are particularly pleased to be recognized again this year for a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, which is reflective of our dedicated faculty of teaching scholars, integrated and innovative programs, and wealth of study abroad and internship opportunities.”
This ranking is the latest in a series of achievements and accolades from a host of other national ranking organizations.
