The Expo will be held at the University’s RecPlex on March 11 and will feature class demos, lectures, and more.
Fairfield University has partnered with the Town of Fairfield and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce to host the 2018 Health and Fitness Expo on Sunday, March 11 from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Leslie C. Quick Recreation Complex.
The event, now in its fourth year, brings together informational lectures, demonstrations, and a wide variety of exhibitors dedicated to health, fitness, wellness, and medicine. The Expo is free and open to the public.
“The health of the whole person is one of the cornerstones of Jesuit values and Fairfield University,” said John Paladino, Director of Recreation. “We are excited to partner with the Town of Fairfield and the Chamber of Commerce to share those values with the greater Fairfield community.”
New this year are fitness classes provided for all ages, including spinning, Zumba, barre, self defense, and bootcamp. Additionally, there will be a kid’s fun-run and face painting, a drug take-back program with the Fairfield Police Department and the Fairfield Cares Community Coalition, CPR and AED training, and much more.
