Co-sponsored by the Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies and the Kanarek Center for Palliative Care Nursing Education, the course will take place on Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m., June 5 until July 17, 2018, at the Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies .

This workshop focuses on the development of working knowledge of the ethical principles of healthcare. Newman, an attorney and professor of healthcare ethics at Fairfield University, serves on the Ethics Committee of the Bridgeport Hospital. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Law and a member of Phi Beta Kappa, he has written and published extensively about medical ethics.
